When you are introducing a new cat into your home, taking the transition slowly is a good way to make your new friend comfortable— especially if you have other pets. Easing your pet into your home and into meeting other pets will make them feel safer. Easing them in their setting helps increase their confidence. A confident cat will be more at ease in other new situations, such as during cat grooming.
